The St Patrick's Grammar School, annual Gaelic football blitz for P7 boys of feeder schools from all over the County and beyond was held on Wednesday 21st September at the College Fields. One team of ten boys from our primary school attended along with their coach Mr Marc Cullen. After a morning of matches the teams were divided up into categories to determine who would win the junior, intermediate and the senior titles this year. TheSt Pat's lads had been strong in every match so were placed intothe quarter finals of the senior competition.Winning both their quarter and semi final games the boys progressed to the final only to be narrowly beaten by the CBS team. The St Patrick's boys enjoyed a full days Gaelic football and were rewarded with silver medals for their efforts. Well done to Mr Cullen and his team.
