"Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world."

Golden ticket winners, superheroes, cats in hats, wizards, multi-coloured elephants, teachers, cowboys, foxes and girls in little red hoods. World Book Day 2024 has seen it all and more.

Another World Book Day has been and gone, and it must surely go down as one of our best yet. What an array of creative and imaginative costumes throughout our whole school. Staff were blown away by the efforts made by our pupils and their families this year.

Reading is crucial in a child's development. We hope that this year's World Book Day acts as a springboard for all of our pupils to launch themselves into a life-long love of reading.
