World Dook Day in P7

The pupils from Mr O’Hare’s, Mrs Perry’s and Mr Mc Garrity’s P7 classes helped celebrate World Book Day last week by dressing up as some of their favourite characters from books they have read. Following their trip to the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh recently, many of the children chose to dress up as characters from their class novel based on the famine in Ireland called Under the Hawthorn Tree. Thanks also to all parents and relatives who supported our “Katie Rose” appeal on the day.
