St Patrick's PS pupils recently took part in both the Kick Fada and Puck Fada Primary School Competitions during the West Armagh Community Festival held at the end of August. Ben P7 and Dara P7 worked in partnership in the Kick Fada competition and after six rounds were crowned as champions, holding off pressure from other local Primary Schools.
Both lads have begun a new chapter of their lives having moved on to St Patrick's Grammar School earlier this month. Mr O'Hare thanked them for their loyalty to St Pat's PS when they brought the Cup into school last week.
In the Puck Fada competition, P7 pupil Conall teamed up with Ben again to participate in a hotly contested competition. There were six rounds of combined puck outs by the lads rewarding them with a trophy each finishing in an impressive second place.Well done indeed.
