Thank you and Goodbye to Staff
This week, our staff gathered together to say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to valued members of staff who are moving on from St. Patrick’s.
Mrs. McElvanna (P6) and Mrs McEvoy (P5) are two class teachers who joined our staff this year. They formed immediate bonds with staff and pupils alike. Their pupils have hugely enjoyed being in their classrooms and we want to say thank you for all of their hard work.
Miss Quinn and Miss McAleer came in to St. Patrick’s to lead our Engage Programme. They taught small group sessions in English and Maths aimed at bringing all of our pupils fully up to speed. Those children lucky enough to work with them loved every session and felt it was a great help. Thank you to both of them for all of their effort this year.
We are also unfortunately saying goodbye to four classroom assistants whose time with us has come to an end. Vilija, Monica, Raimonda and Leigh are four people who have worked tirelessly in their time in this school. We all know that a school can’t run well without classroom assistants, and these four have given their all to St. Patrick’s. They had the trust of all of our children, and we want to say thank you one last time.
We would like to wish good luck to them all with whatever the future holds for them.
