Our P7 Camogie team travelled to Keady last week to play in the 9-a-side All County Go Games finals. The girls were drawn in a very strong group playing primary schools from Middletown, Madden and Keady. Our girls showed that they were no push overs beating St Francis of Assisi PS in their first match and drawing with Middletown in their second game. A draw against Madden would have been enough to qualify for the semi finals however the result did not go our way. Losing meant that the last semi final place would be decided based on goal difference and unfortunately the St Pat’s girls did not progress. The team continued to play another three matches and won all three. A great morning of Camogie.
