Spooky Storytelling with Author Derek Keilty

After some spooky events sabotaged his first planned visit to St. Patrick's in October, we were delighted to welcome children's author (and part-time wizard) Derek Keilty to school last week. When he was with us, Derek shared the magic of #IvyNewt with some storytelling, plus tried out new magic tricks with Sooty Bear, and a few disappearing socks!

Derek is an extremely talented author who took a storytelling workshop to another level. He had our P1-P4 pupils enraptured with the tales from his Ivy Newt book series.
