Sea of Green for Day 5 of Walk to School
What did Saint Patrick say when he was driving the snakes out of Ireland?
"Are yis alright in the back there, lads?"

A sea of green t-shirts, jumpers, trousers, socks, sunglasses, headbands, wigs, flags and face paint snaked its way along the road like we were being chased by St. Patrick this morning as we had our largest crowd by far join us for Day 5 of our Walk to School Initiative with Sustrans' Big Walk and Wheel Event.
What a fantastic start to our Green Day/Eco Day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in conjunction with our school’s Eco-Committee. Fresher air, less traffic and happy children - what more could we ask for?
Remember to join us for Day 6 of our Walk to School on Tuesday morning as school is closed on Monday. Thank you for all of your super support this week. We all know one thing for sure: Saint Patrick walked to school.
