A cheque for £200 was presented on Tuesday 16th May to Mrs Teresa Curry,mother of our past pupil Ryan Curry.
Ryan's sister Shirley sadly passed away, aged 31, in 2015 following her battle with cancer. She left behind a young son Eoin who is aged seven. Family and friends of Shirley climbed Croagh Patrick in her memory at the end of April to raise vital funds for Southern Area Hospice Services. Shirley’s family will be eternally grateful for how well she was cared for by the Hospice staff. To date over £12,000 has been raised with more money still to be added.
