Return to Gaelic football
What a wait it has been .......but today our P7 boys and girls finally had the opportunity to pull on the St Patrick’s black and white jerseys and get out on the pitch to represent their school. Today, 38 P7s traveled to Eire Og Park in Craigavon to play Gaelic football matches against St Anthony’s PS. There were two boys teams and one girls team involved. The boys played a remarkable game with scores galore from both teams but it was the St Pat’s boys who were victorious and now meet the CBS in the Mc Greevy Cup semi final next week. Our girls were also terrific and played two 25 minute halves against the Craigavon girls who proved to be too strong for us on the day. A big thank you to our P7 Gaelic coaches who attended the matches today as well, Mr Tom O Kane and Miss Tierna Mc Veigh both from the Armagh Harps Club in the City.
Our kids also had the opportunity to show off their new “2021 P7 Leavers “ hoodies which they haven’t taken off since they received them this morning.
