Primary 7 End of Year Awards Assembly
24th Jun 2024
? Primary 7 End of Year Awards Assembly ?
This morning was an opportunity for our staff to recognise and praise the effort, kindness, care and achievements, both academic and sporting, of our P7 pupils across the school year and indeed their 7 years in St. Patrick’s Primary School.
Our Principal, Mr McKinley, and our Primary 7 teachers, Mrs Perry and Mr O'Hare, spoke in detail this morning about the achievements of these wonderful children. It was highlighted that these awards recognised the achievements from all seven years in St. Patrick's, not only this year. There was a call back to their first day in their green jumpers in September 2017, wide-eyed and full of wonder. Now, here we are in June 2024, seven years down the line, and it is at an end.
Over the years, these remarkable young children have not only grown academically but have also blossomed into compassionate, creative, and resilient individuals. Their enthusiasm, determination, and kindness have left an indelible mark on our school community.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the parents and guardians who have supported their children throughout their time at St. Patrick's Primary School. Your unwavering encouragement and involvement have played a vital role in their success and indeed the success of our school. We have felt your support and we know your children have too.
Their school year ends on Wednesday 26th June with a Primary 7 Leavers’ Mass in St. Patrick’s Cathedral at 2.00pm. Following this, they will return to school for a final celebration. Parents and family members of our P7 pupils are invited to attend mass and return to school afterwards for the final celebration before taking their children home one last time. We hope to see you there.
To our Primary 7 pupils, as you move on to secondary school, remember that you carry with you the happy memories, values, knowledge, and friendships you have cultivated here. Embrace new opportunities, continue to dream big, and never forget the lessons you have learned within these walls.
On behalf of the entire St. Patrick's Primary School community, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours. May your journey be filled with good health, joy, success, and endless possibilities.
