Past Pupil International Success - Eoin Toal
Tonight could be a very special night for one of our past pupils.
Eoin Toal, who attended St. Patrick’s from 2003-2010, has had the huge honour of being called up to represent Northern Ireland in the latest round of international fixtures. Eoin could be in line to make his international debut tonight vs San Marino, or on Sunday vs Finland.
Having started his soccer career locally with Armagh City, Eoin joined Derry City, representing them with great distinction. This attracted large interest from across the water, with Eoin transferring to Bolton Wanderers in Summer 2022. Since then, Eoin has went from strength-to-strength, cementing himself as an important part of Bolton’s starting line-up.
This international recognition is just the latest step along the highly successful path that Eoin has followed, and we have no doubt that there are even greater things to come for him.
All at St. Patrick’s Primary School are extremely proud of his achievements in his career so far, and are excited by the enormous potential still ahead of him. We know how proud all of Eoin’s family, particularly his siblings Ellen and Caolan, also past pupils, will be.
Congratulations on all of your success so far and good luck for all that is still to come!
