We had some fantastic news this week when Father Peter called to tell us that a P7 pupil, Macha McCone had won the competition to design this year’s Parish Christmas Card. Macha’s card is a mixture of traditional and modern depicting The Holy Family of Nazareth.
All the staff in Saint Patrick’s are so proud of Macha’s card, which will now take pride of place on mantelpieces worldwide this Christmas.
A huge thanks to the many boys and girls who entered and a special mention to Matthew Greene in P7, whose card made it to the final stages. From the hundreds of entries this is a wonderful achievement. Well done Matthew & Macha!A big thank you to Mrs Perry who organised the competition in school.
