P7 Printing Workshop

The pupils from Mr O’Hare’s, Mrs Perry’s and Mrs Bennett’s classes recently took part in a mono printing workshop down in the Armagh County Museum. In a workshop delivered by Armagh artist Orlaith Cullinane, the children were shown the skills needed to produce a mono print. The children firstly had to cut out an image such as a footballer, a wolf, a pair of birds, a butterfly ,a grizzly bear and more. Then using a variety of colours, a small ink roller and a mixing tray each child produced a masterpiece, building up the colours over a series of processes.
