P6 Clay Pinch Pots

Our Primary 6 pupils recently finished an English unit of work based on “Instructional Texts.” Having studied the features of them and how to write instructions, they put the learning into practical action.

The children used air-drying clay to make ‘Pinch Pots.’ They worked carefully to mould the clay into their desired shapes and designs before letting them dry fully. Once they were ready, they used acrylic paint to brightly decorate their wonderful creations!
