P3 Forest School Begins with S’mores!

We’ll go out on a limb and say that this was Miss Savage’s Primary 3 class’ favourite lesson so far this year. They took a leaf of absence from the classroom to have their first “Forest School” lesson in our Outdoor Learning Area to cook S’mores!

When our P3s were told to log in to their Forest School area, a few of them were stumped but they got there in the end.

Their curiosity was ignited when our very own Bear Grylls, school caretaker Greg, lit our fire-pit (very carefully, of course.)

Miss Savage’s pupils were treated to some delicious S’mores. The smell of the toasting marshmallow must have wafted across the playground and into the offices as they were soon joined by Mr McKinley, who turned out to be quite the chef himself!
