Congratulations to our P7 pupils who took part in the annual Poc Fada and Kick Fada competition held in Sherry’s field this week organised by the West Armagh Consortium. All four local Armagh Primary schools attended this unique event, St Patrick’s, St Malachy’s, Mount St Catherine’s and CBS.
Each child took it in turn to kick a football or Poc a sliothar as far as they could over a total of six rounds . Following this, Mr Niall Clifford who ran the event announced that the St Patrick’s PS had won first and second place in the Poc Fada and secod place in the Kick fada. Well done to Rhys who won the Grew/Carroll memorial cup for his outstanding hurling skills and all the team who came home with medals for their efforts.
