#LotsOfSocks for World Down Syndrome Day

On 21st March every year, World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated to raise awareness of Down Syndrome. One of the key ways this gets publicised is through the “Lots of Socks” campaign.

Our school loves to join in this campaign and support the work done by holding our “Odd Socks Day.”

Each year, the voice of people with Down Syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder. The aim is to help advocate for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down Syndrome by joining #LotsOfSocks each year.

Here, we can see some pupils from our Learning Support Class, P1 and P6 who joined in with this years campaign, as did many more across our school.
