January Awards Assemblies
7th Feb 2025
This week, we were delighted to welcome the return of our Awards Assemblies, our first of 2025. It was fantastic to hear about the great work and effort that went on across the school throughout January - a brilliant start to the year.
Our curriculum winners from P1-P7 included examples of excellence and improvement in reading, Maths, creative writing, Art, spelling, and World Around Us, with pupils challenging and stretching themselves even beyond their teachers' expectations!
The Kindness Awards showcased wonderful examples of friendship, compassion, positive attitudes to others, good manners, and respect for everyone in school. These awards are always so special to hear about and something we love to recognise and reward.
We also had the bonus of hearing about the success of some of our pupils in recent Irish Dancing Feis both at home in Ireland, and across the water in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Pictured are Matilda, Lucie, Summer and Isla who were thrilled to share their news, medals and trophies from their competitions. Not pictured are Emily, Ruby and Aoife who also had fabulous success, doing themselves, their families and our school proud.
A truly heartening week to close the first half-term of 2025. We are so proud of all of our pupils, their efforts and achievements.
