Intergenerational Project with P6 at Hamilton Court

Some of our Primary 6 pupils had a lovely afternoon yesterday when they visited Hamilton Court Armagh as part of their participation in their Intergenerational Project.

Fionn, Aoibhe, Adam, Annie May, Lochlan, Aoibheann, Danny and Ella travelled with Mr McKinley and Mrs McLernon to join with Hamilton Court's "Read to Me Day."

The children and their families should be very proud of the care and affection with which they engaged with the residents, showing great understanding and patience when reading with them.

One of the organisers of the project, Lucy Hart, said, "What a lovely afternoon we had with the beautiful, well-mannered children from St. Patrick's Primary School. They made their school and their parents very proud. The residents loved your company and stories. Thank you all."

What wonderful feedback to receive about our pupils. We are extremely proud of them all. As a school, we feel very privileged to be invited to such an event and are delighted to offer our continued participation in these Intergenerational Projects.
