Hive Hackers Aspire
Throughout April, May and June - the P6 classes welcomed staff from Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC) as they led us through the Hive Hackers Aspire programme.
During this 7 week programme, the P6 pupils were introduced to Computer Programming concepts. They carried out unplugged and online tasks whilst being introduced to concepts such as Algorithms, Loops, Debugging and Sequencing. They played games and created their own themes, characters and stories.
On 19th June, 30 lucky representatives from the P6 year group, travelled to Belfast to PWC Head Office for the Hive Hackers Award Ceremony. All pupils who participated in the programme received their certificate.
A BIG thank you to Claire and the PWC staff who travelled to Armagh to lead our weekly sessions. A very enjoyable experience - with lots of learning !!
