Girls' GaelicTeam Win Pearse Og Cup

One girls' team and two boys' Primary six and seven teams took part in a "Pre All Ireland" Gaelic football blitz on Friday 18th Sept 2015.The competition was organised by the Pearse Ogs Club and played on the Ballycrummy playing fields,Pearse Og Park. The boys B team managed to make it to the semi finals stages whilst the Boys' A team made it to the final against Armagh CBS. After a very tight first half between the two schools it was the CBS boys who proved too strong on the day winning by four points.In the Girls' competition the St Pat's team also made it to the final and after full time, followed by extra time, the game went to "golden goals." Following the award of a free kick ten metres from the CBS goal, Eva Conway P7 slotted the ball over the bar to seal victory for the St Patrick's girls. Well done to all pupils and special thanks to Marc Cullen and Miss Tanya Mc Coy for help on the morning.
