Our long line of pupils came up for air as they reached school this morning.

Well done to everyone for persevering in the wet conditions and joining Day 4 of our Walk to School Initiative with Sustrans’ Big Walk and Wheel.

We have always known we can count on our pupils and families to get involved in school initiatives, but we have been genuinely really impressed with the response so far this week.

4 out of 9 mornings complete. Tomorrow we pass the halfway point on what is our Green Day to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in conjunction with our school’s Eco-Committee fundraiser. For our non-uniform day, we want to see pupils wearing as much green as they can. Headbands, wigs, sunglasses, shamrocks, the whole works. Who knows, we might even see Mr McKinley looking a little green…
