Cross Country Running Event

The third round of the Southern Area Cross Country Running competition for primary schools was held in Banbridge lately.St Patrick's entered one boys' and one girls' team made up from children in Primary 5, 6 and 7. The race was 1300m long and proved to be very testing to even the best and most experienced runners as conditions were quite soft underfoot and the air temperature was at freezing point. Both St Pat's teams did well on the day with everyone completing the course. Our next running challenge is the annual Armagh International Road Race held on the Mall on 18th February. All children from P3-7 wishing to enter Road Race must give their £2 entry fee to their teacher before Thursday 28th January.
