St Patrick’s has always promoted the artistic talents of our pupils. Earlier in term one our pupils entered the Credit Union Poster Design Competition producing works of art based on the title “ Imagine More”.
Our school received a letter yesterday with some fantastic news inside .......the names of some PRIZE WINNERS.
Congratulations to Effie Craig from Mrs Mc Aleavey’s P5 class and Etain Mc Cone from Mrs Collin’s P6 class who have won joint third prize in the 8-10 years category at local level. Well done girls.
In the 7 years and under category we had even more success. A MASSIVE congratulations to Amber Mc Combe from Miss Savage’s P3 class who won first prize with her poster entry. Not only did Amber’s poster win at local level but it has progressed to Chapter level where her work has won first prize again...a double win. Her piece of artwork now progresses to the All Ireland level where twelve overall winners will be chosen for the new Credit Union Calendar for Ireland. Fingers crossed and well done again on a super achievement.
