Credit Union Art Contest Success!

The good news just kept on coming this week, as Mr Justin Mallon, manager of Armagh Credit Union Limited, paid a visit to St. Patrick’s to tell us that we had some prize-winners in their annual art contest!

3 super pupils produced 3 super pieces of art for their submission. In a year when Justin told us they received more entries than ever before, to win a prize is a fabulous achievement.

- In the 7 and under age group, Danny was awarded 1st prize! A stunning piece of work that displays his talent but also his effort put into it. Congratulations, Danny!

- In that same age group, Emily was awarded joint 3rd prize. Her beautiful use of colour resulted in a fantastic piece of art. A young girl who always tries her best, this was a deserved award. Congratulations, Emily!

- In the 11-13 age group, which includes P7 but also Years 8 and 9, Patrick was awarded 2nd prize. An extremely talent artist, Patrick conquered many entries from children older than him to earn his deserved recognition. Congratulations, Patrick.

Well done to all of our entrants. Thank you to Justin and his team in Armagh Credit Union. Their continued support to all schools in the Armagh area is hugely appreciated.
