The staff of St. Patrick’s welcomed Mrs Mc Elvanna and Mrs Darragh back to the staff room for ‘afternoon tea’.
As a staff, we are trying to get used to not having Mrs Darragh and Mrs Mc Elvanna working amongst us every day. We know we were privileged to work with them for so many years and thank them for the exceptional care they took of so many children for all those years. We thank them for being there to warmly welcome children in the morning at Breakfast Club, to support and encourage them with their class work during the school day and to care for them in the afternoon during the Fun Club.
We were delighted to see them sitting in the staff room again, but even happier to know that they have embraced their retirement and are busy spending well deserved time with their families.
We all wish them many years of health and happiness.
