Awards Assemblies for November and December

18th Dec 2024
In the midst of all the door decorating, winter wonderlanding, carol singing and nativity playing, there has still been a remarkable amount of work going on in school over the last half-term.

This morning, we had a bumper Awards Assembly featuring recognition for our pupils' work, achievements and kindness throughout November and December, of which there was plenty.

Creative writing, problem solving, reading milestones, musical improvement, artistic wonders, better spelling and sports performances were just some of the things shared across our assemblies. It's so wonderful to hear about all of the good role models who have been impressing in class and being ambassadors for St. Patrick's, and we want to congratulate all who were presented with a certificate and prize this morning.

We even managed to squeeze in a few more awards for our 'Elfy Workout Art Competition winners from right across the school who were all congratulated and presented with a chocolate selection box by Mr O'Hare.

And even after all of this, there was still time for one of the teachers' favourite moments of our assemblies, when our pupils share with us any achievements they have earned or won outside of school. Today, we heard of success in swimming, ballet dancing, gaelic football, Taekwondo and Irish dancing.

An incredibly talented group of children being recognised for all of the things we want to see in our pupils: effort, resilience, kindness, participation, friendship and progress.

Well done to all!
