Armagh v Kildare Half Time Match
The was great excitement during the week when Mr O’Hare handed both Caitlin and Ryan, P7 pupils, special letters sent from Cumann na mBunscl Ard Mhacha.
The letters informed the children that they had been selected to represent St Patrick’s PS in the primary school game to be played during the half time interval of the men’s senior football match on Saturday evening. Armagh will play Kildare in their third National League match this year in the Athletic Grounds in the City that evening and both Caitlin and Ryan will also play a boys and girls Gaelic match on the sacred turf. Also inside the envelope were a pair of free tickets for the match so their families could also enjoy this proud moment.
This is a great honour for the two pupils, for their families and for the wider St Patrick’s family. We all hope you enjoy this experience.
