Anti-Bullying Week 2024
17th Nov 2024
This week was an important one in the calendar of every school across the country: Anti-Bullying Week 2024. The core message of this week’s events was to “Choose Respect.” We want to empower children and bring to an end any negative impacts like bullying in their lives.
Our School Council delivered their first assembly of the year to educate our pupils about what bullying is and how we can prevent it in St. Patrick's.
Today we participated in 'Odd Socks Day'. For this, we wore mismatched socks as a symbol of uniqueness and to promote acceptance of diversity. Odd Socks Day is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness about bullying, something we take very seriously in St Patrick's.
Every child deserves to feel safe and respected when they come to school.
