1847 Ireland

As part of World Book Day 2022, the three P7 classes dressed up as characters from their class novel Under the Hawthorn Tree set in Famine Ireland in the year 1847. Some arrived to school as starving children and their parents, some came as wealthy ladies and gentlemen, some as farmers ,rent collectors, maids, cooks, labourers and stable boys and girls.
