Autumn Investigating

The P1 classes have been using their senses to investigate Autumn.  They went out for an Autumn walk where they listened to the crunching of leaves underfoot and the birds calling to one another in the trees.  They gathered leaves , chestnuts, beech nuts and acorns and used magnifying glasses to observe the similarities and differences between them.  Having looked at the colour of leaves in autumn , they sponge painted leaved for a display.
