St Pat\'s Gaelic team complete Clean Sweep

It has been an incredible year for the St Patrick's Gaelic football team, winning a total of seven trophies .The year was finished off in style as the team travelled to the Athletic Grounds to compete in the Mid Ulster Schools Mc Greevy Cup Gaelic competition.Just before the throw in the St Pat's boys were awarded the Edmund Murray Cup for winning the Mid Ulster Schools League as they remained unbeaten throughout the full year.

Four teams had qualified for the Mc Greevy semi finals and the St Pat's boys played the CBS Team from across town.In a tense match the Loughgall Road boys proved too strong and progressed to play St Patrick's PS Dungannon in the final. In this match it was the Armagh boys who dominated the first half however the second half saw the Dungannon team scoring two early goals .The game was very exciting with levels of skill on display from both teams however it was St Patrick's Armagh who held their nerve and saw the game out with a few points to spare. What a year....
